As I sit down to write this, I’m not even sure words can capture what the last 36 years have meant to me. What I can say is thank you. Thank you for welcoming me into your lives, your homes, and your most precious moments. Thank you for trusting me to preserve the memories that mean the most. Thank you for the support, the hugs, the laughter, and the stories I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
What began as a young girl learning to shoot film and develop prints in a darkroom under the guidance of the greatest mentor—Mike Senior—grew into a dream I never could have imagined. From opening my studio in Pierce in 1999, to building our home on that beautiful piece of land in 2003, to the thousands of smiles, milestones, and memories we created together… every chapter has been a gift.
This next chapter is bittersweet, but it’s time. Time for me to slow down, to be present, and to cherish the moments I simply cannot miss with my husband, children and grandchildren. Life moves fast, and I want to embrace every second of it. We’ve sold our acreage to a wonderful family who will make new memories there—just as we did—and Klint and I have moved to Texas to be closer to our daughter and her family, and just a plane ride away from our son, his wife, and our granddaughter in Italy.
To all of you: thank you for the love you’ve shown not only to me, but to my entire family through the years. You’ve become more than clients—you’ve become friends and family.
And this is not goodbye. I will be back in Nebraska for dance photos and special occasions, and I look forward to continuing to capture the moments that matter most. I will keep you posted when I will be back in Nebraska occasionally and I can still be reached at (402) 329-4544
