After twelve spectacular years, John and I have decided to end our mobile journey with Pompeii’s Inferno. This was a very hard decision. We have made 1,000’s of pizzas and met so many wonderful and loyal customers along the way! We truly appreciate everyone who made us a part of their events and continued to support us every season.
There are so many things to look back on: graduation parties, weddings, wineries, breweries, festivals, Taste of Pickerington, Pizza Wars, Haunted Village, Hippie Fest, and of course our Olde Pickerington Farmers' Market! We started in 2013, the first year of the Farmers Market. Our customer base grew along with the Market. It always amazed us that our customers would come out no matter what the weather (and we have been through it all – extreme heat, torrential rainstorms, sleet) to get their Thursday night pizza. Many weeks we would sell out – 180 pizzas in 3 hours! It became a tradition for our Market customers, and we are very grateful to have been a part of that. Next summer will definitely be an adjustment for our customers and us 😊Thank you to all of the Market managers past and present! Also, special thanks to Ochs Fruit Farm for basil and Hinton Apiaries for the popular hot honey!
Thank you to all our hardworking employees over the years! We could not have done this without you! Pompeii was our daughters’ first job and a few of their friends as well. I think they all enjoyed it and luckily survived all of John’s “dad jokes”!
It is possible that Pompeii’s Inferno will appear in another capacity in the future. Time will tell.
Thank you for 12 GREAT years!! ❤️ Enjoy some pics from throughout the years 😊
