It’s easy to see the fire trucks, the uniforms, and the firefighters responding to emergencies and think that’s what makes a fire company successful.

But the truth is, there is so much more behind the scenes.

Here at Valley Forge Volunteer Fire Company, every single person plays a part in our success.

Whether you’re a firefighter answering the call, a driver getting the apparatus where it needs to go, an officer leading the way, a member of the board, part of the Auxiliary, someone helping at fundraising events, cutting the grass, pulling weeds, working behind the scenes, or the significant other supporting someone who gives so much of their time to this organization…

You are vital to our success.

It takes every one of us.

Last night, we had the opportunity to celebrate those successes and, more importantly, celebrate the people who make them possible.

The Grove at Valley Forge was proud to host the Red, White, and Crew BQ — a celebration of everyone who has helped and supported us in one way or another.

From the amazing food provided by Big Dawg’s BBQ and Catering to the incredible desserts, it was a fantastic evening. A special shout-out to Linda for all of her help! Steph was on hand making sure the evening flowed smoothly and that everything was in order. Bree and Talia kept everyone refreshed with some delicious beverages from the hut.

And let’s not forget one of the highlights of the evening… when the Holt’s started singing a familiar tune that brought smiles to so many faces!

But beyond the food, the drinks, the laughter, and the fun, the greatest part of the evening was simply being together.

In the end, we are family.

Maybe slightly dysfunctional at times… but family nonetheless.

The love, dedication, hard work, and commitment these people have for one another and for this organization is something truly special. We all have different roles. We all contribute in different ways. But together, we make Valley Forge Volunteer Fire Company what it is.

That’s what family does.

And that’s what we are.

🎉 JEN CELEBRATES HER 21st BIRTHDAY… AGAIN! 🎉

And somehow… she still doesn’t look a day over 21! 😄

Friends and family came from near and far to celebrate one of the Grove family, and what a party it was!

🍽️ The food was absolutely on point.
🎶 The DJ kept the dance floor packed all night, dropping hit after hit.
🍹 JoJo was mixing drinks with a smile, making sure everyone who stopped by the shack had a great time.

From birthdays to weddings, reunions to celebrations of all kinds, the Grove has become a place so many people proudly call their home away from home.

Today, we’re adding new trees and new life to the Grove at Valley Forge.

Trees give us shade, beauty, clean air, and a connection to the natural world around us. As time passes and trees are lost, it’s important that we do our part to replenish them and continue growing for the future.

Every tree we plant today is a gift to tomorrow. 🌱🌳

The Grove continues to grow—and we’re excited to watch these new trees grow right along with it!

There’s a roar at the Grove today….

Drive on down and check out the 4th annual Valley Forge Volunteer Fire Company Car-show happening right now.

Over 100 cars including some pretty sweet rides and even a fire truck or two.

The grills are going, beer is flowing, and tons of raffle baskets waiting to be won.

🪨 Yes, it’s true… we have a pet rock here at the Grove at Valley Forge! 🪨

Friends, we would like to introduce you to the newest member of our Grove family… Grovey! 🪨❤️

Grovey comes from a long line of boulders dating back to the days when George Washington himself traveled through our very own Valley Forge. So, as you can imagine, he’s been around the block a few times! 😉

We hope Grovey puts a smile on a face or two whenever you visit us here at the Grove at Valley Forge.

And don’t worry… he may be a little hard-headed, but he’s always a solid friend! 😂🪨

Here at the Grove, we firmly believe in leaving things just a little prettier, a little better, and a little nicer than we found them.

We are always looking for ways to improve and make the Grove an even more beautiful place for our community and our guests.

Today, we finished up the walkways leading to the area where some truly amazing wedding ceremonies have taken place—where people arrived as friends, family, and loved ones, and left as husband and wife.

We’re proud of the work we continue to do to make the Grove a special place for everyone who visits.

Congratulations to Jane and Mike was the plan as family and friends gathered to celebrate.

Sabatinos Food Truck was on had for some delicious food followed up by Pertruccis with some yummy ice cream.

Despite the rain it was all in all a great day to celebrate here at the Grove

We even got to live stream the soccer game.
