Your cozy fall escape is here 🍂📚✨

Applications are officially OPEN for Chapters in Prescott, our intimate fall reading retreat taking place September 18th–20th in the heart of downtown Prescott, Arizona.

We’ll be spending the weekend inside a beautiful historic Victorian manor filled with cozy corners, bookstore strolls, reading time, comforting meals, bookish activities, coffee walks, crafts, and all the small town fall vibes we could dream of ☕️✨

On June 18th, we are officially hosting a Shane + Ilya Look-Alike Contest during our Heated Rivalry Trivia Night at The Duce and honestly… this fandom is exactly chaotic enough to pull this off.

Here’s how it works:
✨ Just show up
✨ Security will check IDs at the entrance
✨ Our team will register contestants on site
✨ The crowd will vote for the winning Shane + Ilya
✨ Winners get prizes + eternal glory

You do NOT need to buy a trivia ticket to participate in the contest. You can absolutely just come for the vibes, themed drinks, music, photo opps, and a room full of Heated Rivalry fans losing their minds together.

BUT if you also want to play trivia, there are still a few tickets left 👀 the link is in our bio ☝🏼

We are officially looking for performers to help bring Once Upon A Carnival to life — an immersive night where fantasy, storytelling, and carnival magic collide beneath the lights. 🎪

This event is being designed as a fully immersive experience for book lovers, and we are looking for performers who can help create unforgettable moments throughout the night.

🎭 unique small businesses that fit the magical carnival atmosphere

The gates to Once Upon A Carnival are opening, and we are officially searching for authors to join us beneath the carnival lights. 🎠

We are looking for fiction authors across all genres to help bring this immersive, bookish carnival experience to life. Whether your stories are filled with fantasy, romance, mystery, horror, whimsy, or adventure… we want to hear from you.

This won’t be your average vendor market.

yesterday felt like pure magic ☀️📚💦

100 girls spending a sunday poolside reading, laughing, tanning, swimming, making new friends, talking about books, and just existing together in such a safe and welcoming space… it honestly meant so much to witness 🥹

the biggest compliment we kept hearing all day was:
“everyone here feels so nice.”
“this feels so comfortable.”
“i came alone and immediately felt welcome.”

and THAT is exactly why we do this 💖

thank you for showing up with your kindles, your current reads, your poolside fits, and your incredible energy. from the bookish cocktails to the giveaways to all the girls reading together in the pool loungers… this one is definitely going down as one of our favorite NYABC events ever ☀️

and don’t worry… summer isn’t over yet 👀
we’ll absolutely be doing another Summer Reading Pool Party at the end of the summer 💦📚

Introducing our June Book-to-Movie Night:
PRIDE & PREJUDICE PAJAMA MOVIE NIGHT ✨

On Thursday, June 25th, we’ll be gathering at Fat Cats Gilbert for the ultimate cozy girls night featuring the 2005 Pride & Prejudice movie starring Keira Knightley — aka one of the most romantic movies ever created.

Wear your favorite pajamas, bring your fellow Mr. Darcy enthusiasts, and prepare for an evening filled with:

90 Twihards. One room. Absolute chaos 🩸🐺✨

You all showed UP for Twilight Trivia After Dark at The Duce and honestly… we’re still not over it 😭

From Charlie Swan cosplay to Volturi capes to iconic Twilight tees, this might have been our most committed trivia crowd yet.

We laughed, listened to the New Moon soundtrack, debated Team Edward vs Team Jacob like it was 2009, and proved once again that the Twilight phase was NEVER a phase 🫠

Thank you to everyone who came out, dressed up, brought the energy, and made the night so ridiculously fun 🖤
