Community Events - Vendors Needed

I have been providing a platform for women for over two decades.

One of the events I am most proud of is highlighting and celebrating Black women in business. This Saturday makes 10 YEARS that I have been hosting this event. Six of those years have been with my amazing, esteemed organization, The Bridge Builders Alliance Group.

My sisters and I are planning for a great Saturday evening. We cannot wait to see everyone dressed in their all-white attire!

I want to share something for anyone who is starting anything: Starting is the easy part. Continuing it through all of life's trials and tribulations is the hardest part.

Over this past decade I have experienced loss of family, financial hardships, pivots in business, ending businesses and starting businesses. But what has always remained the same, what has always been true to my heart, is championing women - providing a platform for women to come together, celebrating each other and supporting each other.

I am most proud of this event and I cannot wait to see everyone show up for each other.

What I have learned over these last 10 years and where I am right now is to release the performative, to release the bells and whistles, to embrace the mission and the purpose. To respect and use what I have, not to overdo what I am doing, but to make the absolute best of what I have and make the biggest impact that I can.

Thank you all for being with me through this decade of supporting and celebrating Black women in business.

We are less than a week away from Girls Day Party: A Celebration of Black Women in Business

Our amazing business owners are getting excited, and we are so proud to be highlighting and celebrating 30 curated Black women-owned brands!

These women have started some amazing business ventures, including gourmet dog treats, luxury press-on nails, custom luxury handbags and travel bags, luxury wigs, fragrances, jewelry, clothing, and more - just to name a few businesses.
