Oh the adventures of 2020. TBH, This is not my favorite year😂. But I will squeeze the most out of my time here always. Hustling. Keeping my hands steady and my resolve humble and strong. Placing my energy into the people I love and the purpose of my life. So eternally for my loyal customers who continue to support my 🙌🏽 My that gives me drive and purpose 🧍🏼‍♂️👩🏼‍🤝‍👩🏽 I am not going to lie.... the longing I feel for is tangible. But soon enough, I have faith. There are difficult moments every day. Frustrations. Confusion. Helplessness. But I can’t focus on that. I have to keep focused on the progress. So here’s to ‘s I still feel wildly inspired to create and execute! Here’s to getaways with (and without!) my family! Heres to an daughter who speaks in full sentences at the age of 8&1/2... oh, how I longed for these days, I will never take them for granted💙! Here’s to a garden that absolutely fills me with joy, even as I’m squishing bugs with my fingers 🤢! Perspective influences joy. I am grateful for the challenges of my life that have given me a perspective of positivity and gratitude. Sending my love to everyone ❤️

A little peak at what’s been going on behind the scenes! has been a happy steady constant for me, & I am very grateful that I’ve been able to keep doing what I love during this crazy time. I continue to learn and grow in my garden. are up! Hit a couple of snags along the way but super happy with the outcome and grateful for my husband who spent Mother’s Day weekend digging and pouring concrete 💪🏽. becoming a thing! 🙋🏽‍♀️ enchiladas have also become a thing! These red enchiladas were from a couple weeks ago, were on the menu for this week. And then there’s the ... for someone who loves almost ALLLLLL vegetables, this ones a challenge. And I figured what better way to face that challenge then to grow them myself and experiment in the kitchen. So and other eggplant recipes on the way!

both 😂 I just love having fresh food I can walk outside and harvest to feed my family & my customers! This from a woman who LITERALLY killed every plant she ever owned before this! My second garden installation will be in the next month or so and you can count on seeing even more home grown deliciousness in your and 💚

Stella changed everything in my world. In my search for answers, solutions, connection to our community I found a whole different woman inside of me. Stella has made amazing progress, she works her butt off & she finds in everyday in every way. A million prayers answered... SHE IS FINDING HER VOICE! I am astonished as new words and sentences and jokes come flying out of her mouth. She sings ALL THE TIME even protesting in song 😂 (“no no no” sung to the tune of jingle bells just yesterday). She makes me take a hard look in the mirror constantly, pushes me to have more patience and compassion and strength than I think I would have mustered up independently. She makes me look at the things I use, the food we eat, the way I treat strangers, everything I thought I knew before this, the way l run my business and the kinds of meals I create. I changed up the way in which I approach meal prep and the kind of food I put out into the world. I scaled back (or tried to) this year. I wanted to be more present. I wanted to work on my own nutritional knowledge and the human body and how it all works. I wanted to work on teaching her about food and how important it is to our and . I want her & her sister to watch me learn how to grow and maintain a garden, I want them to see how we can grow our own food, I want them to see that mom can do it, & so can they. Whatever IT is. My 2 little ladies, each bringing their own unique gifts & challenges to the table, may you always know without a doubt how much your momma loves you.

One of the things I love about what I do is I get to do it in a way that fits my family and my personal life. My food journey has been beautiful and interesting and hard and worth it. If you ever watch my stories you know I recently rolled out phase 1 of my home garden installed by the patient and talented 💚 for giving me the confidence to pull the damn cord! I am so in love with growing things. So in love that what was only a 2 phase garden is looking more like 3, possibly 4 phase garden 🙌🏽 and this growing love is reflected in my weekly menus. This weeks bowl is 🔥 or keep it 🌱

I wake up this morning full of ! Years ago when my babies were a lot more like babies, I decided I needed to make some decisions about how I was going to live and love this life. I decided I wanted to be in the drivers seat instead of just letting years pass by as if i didn’t have influence over the quality of them. 💪🏽 To say it’s taken an immense amount of strength would be accurate. To say it’s brought to light patience I didn’t know I had in me, would be an understatement. But I can’t do any of this without others... & I needed to clean up my roster of who was & who was a part of unhealthy cycles in my life. So here I am with an daughter who is a picky eater, who now eats fruits and vegetables! 🙌🏽My 1st grader and our neighbors/framily ran a lemonade stand & were able to raise $79 for animal shelters. ❤️🐶🐱We continue working on reading and writing and laughing and TALKING!!! (It’s happening, she’s talking, & it’s hard not to burst into tears of joy multiple times a day) & for everyone and everything and every event that led us here I am grateful! I am grateful for the awesome clients I serve to weekly, I am grateful for my busy holiday season ahead full of parties and weddings and events, I am grateful for the hard times and the tough decisions because and are no longer distant concepts. I live in them daily. And that is no small accomplishment. 🥂 Cheers to growing things, plants and people, & to the challenges yet to come!
