Finally getting plaques shipped out to our incredible boat captains and participants - well deserved and long overdue!

While preparing them, we took a little extra time to enhance and edit the photos so they really capture how special the day was. We hope you love the final result as much as we do!

April is Volunteer Month, and we couldn’t let it pass without celebrating the incredible people who make our event so special 💙
When the weather put a kink in our plans, our volunteers didn’t miss a beat. They showed up, stepped up, and did everything they could to make the day meaningful and memorable for our kids.
That’s what it’s all about - heart, dedication, and showing up when it matters most.

Autism mom 💙 Grateful for the opportunities my son has received through the CAST for Kids Foundation. What started as appreciation for an incredible experience quickly turned into a passion for giving back. Seeing the joy, confidence, and connection my son gained from being out on the water inspired me to get more involved.

Now, as Event Coordinator for the C.A.S.T. for Kids Lake Pleasant event, I have the privilege of helping create that same unforgettable experience for other children with special needs and their families. This event is more than just a day of fishing - it’s about building confidence, creating lasting memories, and bringing a supportive community together.

I work alongside amazing volunteers, boat captains, and sponsors who all share the same goal: making sure every child feels included, celebrated, and valued. Watching the smiles, laughter, and excitement on the kids’ faces each year is what makes this so meaningful to me.

Giving back to something that has given so much to my family is truly an honor.
