🔥 What a weekend at MWP Star Warz! 🔥
Nearly 700 athletes. 15 states. 1,585 matches.
Despite record-breaking heat (105°!), your patience, energy, and support never wavered—and we can’t thank you enough. Because of the excessive heat we waited two hours from the original start time and still delivered an unforgettable day of competition.
From rookies to national champions, the level of wrestling was incredible. Over 630 athletes had their moment on the podium—exactly how it should be.
This event is about more than matches—it’s about memories, growth, and building something special right here in Arizona. And we’re just getting started.

Starting times are changing!! Due to record temperatures on Saturday, we have decided to push the tournament start times back.
* The first session will start at 5:30. Open Gates at 4:30
6 & under – 8 & under – 10 & under –12 & under- Girls Elementary – 1st - 5th grade – Girls Middle School 6th – 8th
* The second session will start at 7:45 pm? (This is a guesstimate time) We will start as soon as session 1 is over, but not before 7:45 pm
15 & under – 18 & under – Girls high School 9th – 12th grade
Adult Men & Women 35 & Below 36 & Up
* Saturday weigh-ins will be 3:00 to 3:30 In the gym
