Sandwich generation. I just dropped my oldest off at college for his sophomore year and along the way stopped to see my 82-year-old mom. That was a lot for my heart, saying goodbye to my kiddo and leaving a piece of my heart behind, while seeing my mom’s decline into her aging years. If you can relate I’m sending big hugs. I know I need a hug.
