The past six months have been a whirlwind. In true life fashion, so much happened all at once and faster than I ever expected. I took a step back from Mangiabellazzz to give myself the space I needed to process it all.
Even though I haven’t been posting, I never stopped finding my way back to the kitchen. Throughout this challenging season, the kitchen became so much more than a place to cook. It was often the only place where I felt fully like myself. It became a space for deep reflection, a way to express emotions that were hard to put into words, and a place where I could enter a flow state and get lost in something I love—a brief pause from the intensity of everything happening around me.
The kitchen has always allowed me to be exactly who I am in every season of life. It is love, safety, acceptance, creativity, and self-care. It’s where I learn to nurture every part of myself, even as those parts continue to grow and evolve.
As our queen Ina Garten would say, “How fabulous is that?!”
Grateful to always have an anchor that brings me back to myself. ❤️
