🥟 Brûlée Catering is proud to partner with Temple University, Center City District, Rothman Orthopaedics Cabin, and The Wonton Project for this year’s Lunar New Year celebration! 🌙

We’re honored to be part of this annual event featuring a prancing lion, traditional Chinese dancers, and a delicious menu in the Rothman Orthopaedics Cabin. Ice skating sessions will be available throughout the evening. Tickets to the Rothman Orthopaedics Ice Rink can be purchased here.

For the first time, this event will feature James Beard Award-Winning Restaurateur Ellen Yin and her Wonton Project, bringing menu items like steamed wontons (chicken or vegetable) and vegetable spring rolls to the Rothman Orthopaedics Cabin. Available while supplies last!

🎭 Schedule of Events:

Ongoing: Calligraphy activity hosted by Temple University
Ongoing: Complimentary children’s Year of the Snake craft
5 p.m.: Red envelope giveaway to the first 100 guests
5:30 p.m.: Kun-Yang/Lin Dance performance
6 p.m.: Chinese opera performance by Jiaye Xu of Temple University’s Boyer College of Music and Dance
6:30 p.m.: Philadelphia Suns performance

We were thrilled to have hosted another commissary tour for OIC Philadelphia, continuing our partnership with this incredible nonprofit dedicated to empowering individuals through free job training and career development programs.

This second visit was just as impactful, giving students a deeper look into the world of catering and event management. We guided the group through our commissary, sharing insights on every aspect of our process—from lead generation and menu development to culinary production, logistics, and staffing.

After an engaging tour, we shared a wonderful meal and opened the floor to a lively Q&A session, diving into the unique challenges and rewards of off-premise catering. The students’ enthusiasm and thoughtful questions inspire us to keep supporting the next generation of culinary professionals.
