I get a true sense of fulfillment preserving the most important moments in people's lives. This is the joy that dives me to be a wedding photographer.

My approach is very personal. I always come away from a wedding feeling like I've just experienced something beautiful between close friends. For me, the most important thing is to capture the love between you and your partner honestly. It's this intimate approach that will help you feel at ease and comfortable with the camera, highlighting the organic beauty that is revealed when people really fe

el like themselves. I earned a degree in photography from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), one of the most prestigious photography programs in the country. This level of experience and training comes heavily into play while capturing your special day. I am drawing on a bank of knowledge and know-how that has taken years in the field to master. Of course I also come with a wide assortment of top-of-the-line equipment. I bring multiple high end cameras, spectacular lenses, gorgeous lighting and flashes, and more importantly_,_ the knowledge to use this equipment to it's fullest potential. The result is a simple and fresh aesthetic, rich in narrative images and telling details. Every wedding is unique. Most weddings are a combination of timeless traditions and spontaneous celebrations. As your photographer, I am constantly open to possibility, seeking out the nuanced shots that tell the story of your love. There are certain moments I expect to photograph of course, and then there are the photos that can't possibly be planned, but are full of emotion and truth. Sometimes it's these moments in between the poses that tell your story best.

Kaylyn & Doug were the very first wedding to photograph at Calder Gardens — and I’m so happy to see this beautiful Philadelphia moment featured on

Calder Gardens is such an extraordinary new addition to the Parkway, where reflective architecture, naturalistic planting, and Calder’s artistic legacy all meet. Portraits here felt modern, sculptural, and deeply connected to the city around them.

There’s something especially meaningful about Alexander Calder having a place here in Philadelphia. His grandfather sculpted William Penn atop City Hall. His father created Swann Memorial Fountain at Logan Square. And now Calder Gardens carries that lineage forward through Herzog & de Meuron’s softly reflective facade and Piet Oudolf’s planting, which gives the whole site such a quiet, immersive rhythm.

For couples looking for a portrait setting with clean lines, natural texture, and real impact, Calder Gardens is a beautiful place to begin.

Madison & Chase put so much thought into their wedding day, every detail felt personal — a reflection of their story, their families, their city, and the life they’ve built together.

The aisle was lined with flower petals Madison had saved and dried over the years from bouquets Chase had given her, mixed with fresh petals as a nod to their past and present. Their love for Philadelphia was woven throughout the day, from LOVE ornament favors for each guest to Liberty Bell place cards. Their invitation imagery included meaningful milestones from their relationship, their handmade playing card deck became the guest book, and the entire color palette was inspired by Madison’s floral veil.

Madison and Chase chose to save their first look for the aisle, and that moment of anticipation made seeing each other feel even more powerful. Earlier that morning, they shared private vows over coffee before exchanging an abridged version in front of their family and friends.

A day full of meaning, presence, and so much joy. What an honor to photograph it.

Their wedding weekend continued with a welcome party high above the city, and stepping out onto the rooftop for portraits felt completely unreal. With the city glowing all around them, it felt cinematic — the perfect little sky-high chapter before their wedding day at Water Works.

Madison & Chase’s wedding weekend began at tucked into the restaurant’s greenhouse-style private dining space.

Madison’s rehearsal dinner dress was made from her mother’s ’90s wedding gown — the first layer of a celebration shaped by family history, thoughtful design, and details that told the story of Madison & Chase’s relationship.

I always love photographing rehearsal dinners because they offer such a meaningful window into the wedding weekend. Listening to the speeches, seeing the closest people gathered around the table, and getting a feel for the relationships in the room helps me understand the couple in a deeper way before the wedding day even begins.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers, caretakers, aunties, grandmothers, chosen family, and loving arms that hold us through this life.

Motherhood has given me so many tiny, shining joys: dance parties in the living room, my daughter’s little voices filling the room with song, sleepy snuggles and the wild sweetness of raising sisters. I feel endlessly grateful for this little family of mine and for the messy, magical, love-filled days we share together.
