Thank you for believing in Jazz on the Ave. Thank you for supporting our community. Thank you for showing up. Thank you for bringing your families and friends. And most importantly, thank you for bringing the LOVE. ❤️

And because an event like this takes a village, a few cousins, some honorary cousins, a lil sis, a cousin, and a twin on emergency venting duty, and probably somebody I forgot to mention because my brain is still recovering. 😂 If I did not call your name in Thank You post 1-4, please know that does not mean your contribution went unnoticed.

I see you. I recognize your contribution. I value what you brought to this day, and I truly appreciate you. ❤️

I’m still riding the high from an incredible day, and my heart is overflowing with gratitude.

Jazz on the Ave is more than music. It’s community. It’s connection. It’s collaboration. It’s family. And yesterday, you could feel every bit of it.

To my team; Matt, Ameerah, Kenny, Isaiah, Donna, Kevin, Antoine, and Mike, Malika & Mike S. - whew! Y’all already know. 😂 Thank you for every early morning, late night, phone call, text message, last-minute change, problem solved, fire put out, and moment when somebody looked at me and said, “Chris… we got it.” I could not do this without you.

You worked hard, stayed committed, pivoted when we needed to pivot, and somehow still managed to smile through the craziness. I love and appreciate you more than I can say.

And I have to send some extra-special love to my lil sis, Tia and my cousin Richiena. ❤️ Girls, THANK YOU for answering my calls when I needed to vent, fuss, talk something through, say “You are not going to believe this…” or just have somebody on the other end who understood that I needed to get it OUT before I could keep moving. 😂 Y'all listened, encouraged me, let me have my moments, and then sent me right back into the madness. Sometimes the people who help make an event happen aren't standing on the festival route; they're the ones answering the phone when I am two seconds away from losing it. 😂 Love you, both! ❤️

To our vendors -thank you for bringing the food, the fashion, the resources, the creativity, and all the good stuff that makes people say, “I'm not going to spend that much money today…” and then walk away with three bags and a plate. 😂 Thank you for investing in our community and being part of the Jazz on the Ave experience.

And to every single person who attended - YOU are the heartbeat of this festival.

Producing Jazz on the Ave definitely comes with a few headaches, a few “Lord, please…” moments, and probably a few gray hairs I’m going to discover this week 😂, but when I looked out and saw all of YOU enjoying yourselves, every bit of it was worth it.

To everyone who came out and showed love at Jazz on the Ave - THANK YOU! Whether you came for the music, the food, the vendors, the dancing, the community, or because somebody told you, “Just come on, you’re gonna have a good time!” 😂 you helped make the day incredibly special.

To our amazing hosts, thank you for bringing your energy, personality, professionalism, and love to the Ave. You kept us moving, laughing, dancing, and reminded everyone why Jazz on the Ave feels less like an event and more like a big family reunion… just with better entertainment! ❤️

A very special thank you to Patty Jackson and Dyana Williams. I hope the awards I presented to you confirmed just how much you both mean to Jazz on the Ave. Your love, commitment, presence, and support through the years have helped make this festival what it is, and it was important to me that you know how deeply you are appreciated. ❤️
