Sara Mosley left a successful career in the NY textile industry, moved back to her native Philadelphia, and pursued her passion for designing and making jewelry. The result is Sakomo Collections, a line of hand-crafted jewelry and accessories.
Sara gets her Inspiration from many places - particularly from the colors and shapes in nature and architecture. Her favorite materials include semi-precious stones, pearls & ethnic beads. The most satisfying part of Sara's creative process is seeing her jewelry designs come to life on their new owners!

Brenda Rydstrom is a MAAG member artist who describes her work this way: "I am dedicated to the reduction of overproduction in the fashion industry. I create Upcycled Fashions out of previously owned garments. I take the existing pieces and rework them into art clothing that is fun to wear, economical and ecolofically responsible."

She'll be selling a variety of wearables at MAAG Rocks Art on Saturday, September 19 from 11 AM - 5 PM along the 7000 block of Germantown Avenue (between Mt. Pleasant & Sedgwick) in the heart of Mt. Airy. We'll also have food trucks, live music, and activities for kids. Come out and join the fun!
