I blinked and somehow Passover prep swept me completely off the Instagram grid 😅 But between the matzah crumbs and seder plates, life behind the camera didn’t slow down one bit. Now that the holiday is (almost) behind us, my calendar is packed and my heart is full. Can’t wait to share all the stunning celebrations, sweet families, and unforgettable moments I’ve been lucky enough to capture lately!

I’ve been thinking so much about the word “Chai” (Life in Hebrew) this past week.

“Chai”, a symbol of who we are as a people.

A people who have been through unimaginable pain, yet still choose to dance, to love, to build, to believe.

Since October 7th, the weight of that has never felt heavier, at least in my lifetime… and yet, the beauty of it has never felt more profound to me.

As a Jewish wedding photographer, I have the honor of witnessing Jewish love in its purest form, of capturing not just moments, but resilience, hope, and the unshakable spirit of our people.

Every Jewish wedding I photograph reminds me that no matter what, we hold on to life.

And with every “Mazel Tov,” with every shattered glass, with every embrace under the chuppah, my heart heals a little more.

To my people, you are my light.

Thank you for reminding me, time and time again, that “Chai” is not just a word. It’s who we are.

On this Valentine’s Day, I just want to take a moment to say how truly grateful I am for you. ❤️

Your love stories, your laughter, your quiet, intimate moments, they are the heart of everything I do. Whether it’s the joy of a wedding day, the magic of a proposal, the excitement of an engagement session, or the warmth of a family session filled with little hands and big hugs, every moment matters.

I get to witness love in all its forms between newlyweds, parents and children, grandparents and grandchildren, siblings, best friends. I get to freeze time, capturing the way you hold each other, the way you celebrate, the way you love. And that is a privilege I will never take for granted.

So today, I just want to say thank you. Thank you for trusting me, for welcoming me into your most precious moments, and for allowing me to document the love that fills your lives. I see it, I cherish it, and I am endlessly honored to capture it.

Michelle and David are the definition of a perfect match. ✨

From the moment we started their engagement session, it was clear they were made for each other.

Some couples just have it. You know what I am talking about...that undeniable connection that you feel the second you see them together. Helen and Eric are absolutely one of those couples. Their engagement session at Longwood Gardens wasn’t just about the beautiful location (though, wow, those gardens are stunning!)—it was about capturing the natural, easy way they love each other.”

From the way they laughed together to those quiet moments in between, it was clear: these two are the real deal. Their comfort with one another made this session feel like a walk with old friends, and every shot came together seamlessly. I couldn’t be happier for these two!!

I’m Yael Pachino and I am the girl behind the camera...

“I vow to you, I will take the time to get to know you, take the time to listen to you and take the time to capture you as who you are. I vow to you, that your wedding day makes me as giddy as a school girl, seeing your beautiful dress makes me smile with joy and capturing your first dance brings tears to my eyes. I vow to you, I will photograph your big day with all my heart and soul!”

So let me start by saying this... I love what I do. I love my clients. I love watching peoples true colors come out in front of my camera when they start relaxing and forget I'm there. I love every cliche you can say about being a photographer, and I hate being a cliche, but I love it, and I feel honored every day that I get to wake up and photograph the people of the great city of Philadelphia and beyond.

I am an East Coast, busy-bee through and through. I love the adventure that photography takes me on. I love the client's I get to meet and I love the moments that they share with me. That's what it's really all about, isn't it? Sharing, capturing and protecting. Protecting the special moments, the special people and the special occasions in our lives that will be past down from generation to generation. And that, my friend is what we will do. We will create beautiful photographs together that you will be excited to share, with your friends, with your family, even with the pizza delivery guy. I want us to work together to create stunning photographs that you will be proud of. I want us to work together to create gorgeous photos that make you say "Yes! That is us! That is exactly us!" I want you to always be comfortable, always be true to yourself and always have a damn good time in front of my camera.
