Our campaign and fundraiser for theaftd runs through Sunday October 4th during World FTD Awareness week.

It’s World FTD Awareness Week + that means we’re kicking off our 6th annual fundraiser for 🧠🥒

Every year, we donate a portion of pickle sales to this cause in honor of those impacted by Frontotemporal Dementia, including Niki’s father who passed away from the disease in 2024.

Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD) is a cruel brain disrase that steals a person’s personality, behaviors and language during their peak working years, typically between ages 45 and 65.

This year, a portion of pickle sales from 9/28 to 10/4 will benefit the cause. Plus, we’ve added a pickling class to our mix of ways to contribute!

Join us on Friday, October 2nd from 6:30P-8P for a very special pickling class dedicated to the theme “Food is Therapy” where 100% of net proceeds will benefit the campaign.

Join us for a very special fundraising event next month during our annual campaign for 🧠

Food brings us together. ‘s Food Is Therapy series explores the powerful connections between food, creativity, community, and well-being through shared experiences, storytelling, and hands-on culinary education.

will host this special pickling class on fri 10/2 at 6:30P alongside Stephanie Jeffers-Barco, aka

***This class will be filmed and recorded for TV***

$85 per person to register, includes:
- Interactive exercise with the PLATE method
- Discussion about fermenting and quick pickling with
- Supplies and ingredients to make 2 jars of quick pickles
- One jar of pickling spice
- FPP reusable bag
- One jar of Fishtown Pickle Project pickles
