Alright, real talk, event creators. I came across a post where someone was dreaming of a luxury wedding for 150 guests on a $10k budget. Many planners laughed it off, claiming it's impossible. But I love a good challenge!
Now, I’m not saying we’ll be at the top-tier venue, but I can definitely create a memorable day that brings smiles, and you’d never guess the actual cost unless I shared it. Clients with low income, who work hard to support their families should still be able to have a nice event without dragging themselves into the poor house.
Here’s my breakdown—hopefully, it’ll be helpful for someone out there. And remember, it’s always important to have a range of vendors for all types of budgets!
Breakdown:
* Venue: Your local community center's can be rented for $200 - $500
* Catering budget - $4,500 (no more than $30 per person)
* DJ - $500 (4 hrs)
* Photographer - $500 (2hrs)
* Cake - $500 (display a faux for looks) serve a sheet cake. Cakes are cut in the kitchen and then served. Your guest won't care, trust!
Decor: $2,250.00
4 - 32ft tables (seats 34 guest each)
2 - 72in round ( seats 10 guests each)
1 - Sweetheart table (seats 2)
150 - folding rental chairs.
Setup/Labor - $1,250
10k local event cost only!
A great planner who's amazing with budgets and have a great relationship with all their vendors can make this happen. Little to know florals in design so keep it cute with candles 🕯 ☺️
