Boom! Boom! Boom!….
After all was said and done… $2000 was raised from our and “the check is in the mail!” It’s an unexplainable feeling to be able to donate this check to Lupus Foundation of America, Lone Star Chapter There’s a feeling of sadness because I miss my sister every day, but then there’s a feeling of joy to be able to do something special in honor of her! Thanks to The Outsiders BBQ Team for putting in the work on these smokers! Definitely some of the best cooks in the Austin area hands down!! In memory and in honor of my sister who passed from Lupus (2013) we are holding our 1st Annual BBQ Fundraiser for Lupus Awareness.(5/17) It will be held at Spinners. I am looking for volunteers and/or sponsors to help make this an epic event. We will need assistance in fixing and serving plates, handing out Lupus pamphlets, and other assistance when needed.
