Desirae and Kane’s wedding had me swooning over all the gorgeous fall colors!

The warm autumn tones, beautiful florals and all the little details came together so perfectly against the backdrop of Highbanks. There’s just something about a fall wedding by the lake that gets me every time. 🍁

It’s always so special seeing a couple’s plans finally come to life after all the months of preparing, planning and counting down. We’re grateful Highbanks got to be a small part of Desirae and Kane’s day and wish them all the best as they begin this next chapter together. ♥️

A quick Highbanks update! 🖤

We had originally planned to officially open our 2028 wedding calendar today, but the last couple of weeks have brought some unexpected family emergencies that have required our attention and put us a little behind schedule.

While we catch up, we’re also taking the opportunity to give our website a much-needed refresh! It will be temporarily down while we make some improvements and updates.

2028 bookings are still coming VERY soon!

Thank you for your patience, understanding and continued support. We can’t wait to show you what we’ve been working on… and officially welcome our 2028 couples!

In the meantime, we’re still here! Feel free to call/text or message us directly with any questions or inquiries.

Like so many throughout our community, our hearts have been heavy following Saturday evening’s tragic accident in Pike County ♥️

We’ve seen an incredible amount of support already being shown for the families affected, and we wanted to help by sharing the fundraisers that have been created by those close to them.

🌸 Bailey & Tyler 🌸

This sweet couple booked Highbanks when we were barely starting drywall and the building was still very much an active construction zone 🥹 Like so many of our early couples, they put an incredible amount of trust in us—and that will never be lost on me.

At the end of their night, Tyler and I stood in the kitchen doorway looking out over their reception and talked about where their journey with Highbanks started… and where we were standing now. Their wedding day. Their family and friends filling the space. Everything we had talked about all those months ago actually happening.

Talk about a full-circle moment 🥹♥️

This is definitely one of those couples I’m going to miss working with.

And their day was SO much fun 🌸 From the gorgeous florals and rose petals leading to the lake, to all of the personal little touches they worked into their day—including tiny Mickey jewels added to the girls’ bouquets that I somehow failed to get a picture of 🫠—it felt completely them.

Bailey & Tyler, thank you for trusting us before there was much here to trust. It has been such a privilege getting to watch your wedding go from plans made in a construction zone to this beautiful day surrounded by the people you love ♥️

Congratulations, you two! 🥂

Tomorrow, August 25, we’re opening our 2028 calendar FIRST to couples who have already toured Highbanks for a 2028 date! ♥️

2️⃣ Our Highbanks Decor Collection is LIVE! ✨ (almost… uploading will begin shortly!)
We now have a private Facebook group where our booked clients can browse the decor and event items available in our inventory!

We’re just getting started photographing, organizing, and adding everything (and there is A LOT 😅), so the collection will continue to grow.

August 2024 → August 2025 → August 2026 🖤

Two years ago, we stood in a freshly cleared spot in the woods and talked about what we hoped would someday be here.

A year later, Highbanks was taking shape.

And today? These doors have already welcomed hundreds upon hundreds of people. Weddings. Reunions. Showers. Celebrations. Community events. Some of the biggest days of people’s lives.

That part still gets us.

We dreamed about the building. We planned every detail. We watched it come out of the ground.

But I don’t think we could have fully imagined what it would feel like once it was filled with people.

Three Augusts. One pretty incredible transformation.

And we’re just getting started 🖤
