Gloria Dance is the oldest living Miss Virginia who spent decades teaching dance to thousands of young people in central Virginia. As Miss Petersburg at 18 years old she entered into the state wide pageant in 1950 where she was crowned Miss Virginia. If you are local to the central Virginia area odds are you have encountered Miss Gloria Dance and all of her beautiful graciousness. We were so honored to host her this morning and allow her the chance to meet our current Miss America Madison Marsh. It was a beautiful moment for all of those in the room, we would love to share this moment with you. Look forward to a news story soon from Wayne Covil on CBS 6.🏆🥹❤️

We can't tell you how excited we were to have two awesome ladies visit us today from The James House! For those who may not know The James House is a local accredited non-profit organization that helps men, women, and children in the greater Tri-Cities area who are affected by domestic and sexual violence. Every year we select a recipient to honor for our Birthday here and it's that time of the year again! Can you believe we are only a few weeks away from our 3rd Birthday as ! We are always excited to be able to celebrate our milestones at Old Towne's Alibi by giving back to our community! As we approach our yearly anniversary we want to take the time to say THANK YOU to our continuous supporters and everyone who shows us love! It is with your love and support that we can say that we are closing in on 3rd year of running and in that time we have been able to put approximately $40K back into our local community! How incredible is that?!?! It goes without saying that none of that could ever be accomplished without your love, visits, and support! If you wish to send us a Birthday present, the Amazon Wish List link is below for items to directly benefit The James House. Everything on the list was listed by their representatives today. They put a large emphasis on items needed for their shelter, especially cleaning products, toilet paper, paper towels, and making sure all the kiddos there had plenty of snacks and easy meals for summer as they won't be at school.
