One of my favorite parts of this work is the incredible community of creative professionals we get to work alongside.
The best celebrations are never created by one person. They come together through collaboration, communication, shared creativity, and a team of people who genuinely care about creating something beautiful for their clients.
Events like this are such a fun reminder to step outside of our usual roles, connect with fellow professionals, share ideas, and celebrate the people who make this industry so special.

Who says you only get one proposal? 🤍
After years of marriage, a life built together, and two beautiful children, he decided to ask her all over again.
And there’s something I love about that.
The first proposal is about everything you hope your life together will become. A re-proposal comes after you’ve actually lived some of it. You’ve built the family, shared the everyday moments, grown together, and you’re still saying, I choose you.
We created a setting that felt worthy of that moment, with their children there to be part of the surprise and celebration. And honestly, watching the kids experience it might have been one of my favorite parts.
Because romance doesn’t have an expiration date. Neither does celebrating your marriage.

For Jordan & Adrian, their wedding day was the beautiful finale to a love story we had the honor of being part of from the very beginning.
After planning their surprise proposal nearly one year before, watching their wedding day unfold felt incredibly special. Every part of the timeline was thoughtfully designed to let them slow down, celebrate with their loved ones, and truly take in the experience.

Planner becomes bride: the details I prioritized for my own wedding. 🤍
After years of planning luxury weddings for my couples, I knew one thing for certain:
The most meaningful celebrations don’t happen by accident. They happen through intentional planning, thoughtful details, and a clear vision for how you want the day to feel.
When it was my turn to plan my own wedding, I approached it the same way I guide my couples.
✨ Start with the feeling. Before choosing the details, I focused on the experience we wanted to create. A day filled with love, connection, and the people who mean the most to us.
✨ Prioritize what matters most. Every decision, from the design to the timeline, was made with purpose. The goal wasn’t just a beautiful wedding, but a celebration that truly reflected our family and our story.
✨ Create space for the moments you’ll remember. The details set the scene, but the moments shared with the people you love are what make the day unforgettable.

A surprise proposal should feel exciting, not stressful. For both of you. 🤍
Yes, there are a lot of moving pieces happening behind the scenes, but the person proposing shouldn’t have to manage all of them.
When we plan a proposal, our job is to think through those details ahead of time so you can focus on the one thing that actually matters: asking the question.
We’re thinking about:
✨ How to get your partner there without giving away the surprise ✨ Where and when the proposal should happen ✨ Photographer positioning and timing ✨ Florals, ch*****ne and the details you want waiting ✨ What happens if you’re early, late, or plans shift ✨ What comes next after they say yes
For a proposal at a destination like Castello di Amorosa in Napa County, there’s also venue coordination, access, logistics and privacy to consider.
You shouldn’t be checking your phone to make sure the photographer is in position or wondering whether everything has been set up.
You should be nervous for all the right reasons. 😉
We’ll handle what’s happening behind the scenes so when the moment comes, you can simply be in it.

There’s something special about discovering a venue beyond the way it looks in a photo. 🤍

A day at Beaulieu Garden is a reminder of why experiencing a space in person matters so much when you’re planning a wedding.

From the drive onto the property to the gardens, historic details, guest spaces, and the overall flow of the experience, every part of a venue contributes to how your wedding day feels.

And of course, no venue experience is complete without great food and even better company. 🥂

As a planner, these experiences are one of my favorite parts of the job. They help me better understand the spaces I recommend to my couples and the possibilities each venue can offer.

After nearly two decades of planning and designing weddings, being recognized for work I genuinely love is incredibly meaningful.

So much goes into creating a wedding that feels effortless for a couple. The design, the timeline, the vendor team, the guest experience, the problem-solving behind the scenes, and all of the little decisions that bring everything together.

But none of it happens alone.

I’m so grateful for the incredible couples who trust me with such an important chapter of their lives, and for the talented vendor partners who continue to make the celebrations we create together possible.

How do you make sure your wedding day actually feels like your wedding day?
You protect time for the two of you. 🤍
When we’re building a wedding timeline, I’m not only thinking about when hair and makeup starts or what time guests need to be seated. I’m looking at where we can create space for the couple to actually experience what they’ve spent months planning.
For Haley & Taylor, that meant making sure the day wasn’t one long checklist of places they needed to be.
A few things I always consider:
✨ Build in more time than you think you need. A little breathing room means a late shuttle, longer toast, or extra five minutes with someone you love doesn’t throw off the entire day.
✨ Protect time together. Your photographer, planner, family and friends will all need you at different points. There should also be moments when nobody needs anything from you.
✨ Plan transitions with care. The time between moments matters just as much as the moments themselves. Allowing enough time to move from photos to the ceremony, or cocktail hour into dinner, keeps the couple and their guests from ever feeling rushed.
A great wedding timeline can be incredibly detailed behind the scenes without ever feeling that way to you.
That’s always the goal.
You’ve spent months making decisions. On the wedding day, you should be able to trust the plan, be present with the people you love, and actually enjoy it. 🤍
