Volunteer help has started removing the old plaster ceiling.

A very generous donor has given the town 2, 1930s popcorn machines. Both are in good condition and we should have at least 1 running for cruise nights next summer.

Yesterday we embarked on a mission to save the original piano for the Opera House. The weight of it was causing issues at the museum it was in. I doubt the piano will ever hold a tune again but, it will live where it belongs.

This table was built from the floor joist removed from the first floor of the The Standard Opera House . We are currently taking offers for the table with 100% of proceeds going toward restoration efforts.

We still have a few floor joist available. These are best for use in furniture making.

The floor is down! Over 110 floor joist replaced, over 100 sheets of plywood flooring. Now we wait for the North Side windows to be installed on Aug 9.

The monthly cruise nights are growing and growing. Any money we raise from entries, 50/50 apparel, and food sales, goes toward repairs and renovation.

There's more to replacing floor joist than just dropping new in place. The mortar has to be repaired/replaced at the same time.
