Guided Bird Hikes at the Arb with LeAnn & Ron Plinske

Saturdays (2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd) & Wednesdays (6th, 13th, 20th) in May

Join LeAnn & Ron Plinske for a delightful, guided bird hike through the Arboretum! Avid “bird-nerds” since 2007, they bring years of passion and experience to every walk.

As MN Master Naturalist Volunteers, active Northland Arboretum members and volunteers, and participants in the Brainerd Lakes Area Audubon Society (BLAAS), LeAnn and Ron love sharing their knowledge and enthusiasm with others.

Whether you’re new to birding or already hooked, you’ll enjoy a relaxed, engaging hike filled with bird sightings, tips on identification, and fun facts about the local ecosystem. It’s a great way to connect with nature, learn something new, and meet fellow bird lovers.

Bring your binoculars (we do have some to share if you do not have your own), wear comfortable shoes, and come explore the Arb in a whole new way!
