Today we get the pleasure of celebrating with Courtney and Josh on their wedding day! We loved hearing all about their journey together:

"Josh and I started our love story thanks to Tinder. We had our first date scheduled for a Friday at the local mini golf course. The date started off with me making a comment about Josh’s outfit, not the best first impression but here we are now! Josh is competitive and did not let me win at mini golf, mini golf went so well we spent the whole day together getting lunch and ice cream after. The next day we made plans to hang out again and after the second date I knew he was the one for me and later found out he had the same feelings towards me. July 1, 2019 Josh asked me to be girlfriend. Fast forward to May 2023, Josh and I went back to the mini golf course and on hole number 7 after I made my putt I turn around to walk back to Josh and he is down on one knee ring in hand and proposed! It was a full circle moment of our love story. In July 2023, our daughter Lily was born. July 1, 2024 we got married at the local courthouse with only family around. July 11, 2025 we are renewing our vows and celebrating our love with all our closest family and friends. The month of July has held some of the most beautiful and amazing memories for us and can’t wait to see what the future has in store."

“Drumore Estate was the perfect place for our wedding! The mansion is beautiful, the grounds are stunning, and the staff are absolutely amazing. They were there through every step of the wedding planning process with quick responses to all our questions, and they worked hard to help us tailor our wedding to our specific vision. They have numerous options around the estate for both ceremony and reception options depending on your wedding size and/or preference. Also, their in-house catering was absolutely delicious! The beautiful grounds have so many different options for amazing photo opportunities. (Our photographer loved the venue!) Finally, I cannot stress how amazing their staff is. We had an amazing day, and it absolutely flew by, but we were able to enjoy every minute of it because the staff worked hard to take care of every detail. I cannot recommend this venue more highly!!”

Happy wedding day to Lizzy and Elliot!!! We loved hearing about your love story together and cannot wait to celebrate with you tonight 💖

Elliot and Lizzy’s love story began in the most fitting place—chemistry class! Sparks flew back in 2019 during high school, and they’ve been inseparable ever since. Fast forward to June 28th, 2024, Elliot popped the question on a beach in Lewes, Delaware, with roses, candles, a cozy blanket, and a big surprise waiting afterward: both of their families gathered to celebrate the moment. After a joyful beach day surrounded by love, Elliot and Lizzy began to plan their dream wedding at Drumore. They are both so excited to begin their next chapter together as the Dunns!

Shayna’s attention to detail has saved us from headaches on the wedding day, and we can’t recommend her enough! We came into our wedding day with very minimal stress (just nerves!) because we knew Shayna would have every little detail taken care of.

The food was also amazing! From tasting to the actual event, we were very happy with how everything turned out.

Though we had hoped for an outdoor wedding, the cold and light rain brought us inside. However, the ballroom was beautiful- again, Shayna and her team arranged everything so beautifully!"

Today we have the pleasure of celebrating with Adrianna and Saaman on their wedding day!! Read all about how they fell in love below 🤍

Adrianna and Saaman met at Franklin & Marshall College in 2017 when Saaman called Adrianna by the wrong name during their Spanish class. They recovered from that mishap, became close friends, and eventually started dating junior year. During their time in college, they loved eating and drinking their way through Lancaster's amazing restaurants, bars, and coffee shops. They now live in West Virginia but wanted to get married in the Lancaster area to share with friends and family the place in which they met and fell in love!

Our Story

Drumore Estate was founded in 1938 when local newspaper magnate and philanthropist John F. Steinman sought out a hilltop in the Lancaster County countryside to build a peaceful retreat. He decided upon this property in the southern end of Lancaster, situated on the second highest peak in the county with a view of his newspaper building in downtown Lancaster. Philadelphia architect Robert R. McGoodwin was commissioned to design the 16,000 square foot brick Georgian mansion so that it best complimented the natural beauty of the property.

Mature trees were transplanted on the property in 1939 and the towering sycamores lining the driveway are a hallmark of the estate to this day. Drumore Estate features a breathtaking wedding aisle for brides to ascend stairs from the mansion to make their entrance through the Formal Gardens. To the left of the Fountain Garden, the bucolic view stretches across the Susquehanna River Valley.

John F. Steinman planned the property with entertaining in mind. There are numerous patios, balconies, porches, pools, and fountains nestled in the Formal Gardens. Other local Steinman family properties include Conestoga House and Gardens and the Pressroom Restaurant adjacent to Steinman Park where a statue honors John F. Steinman and his brother, James Hale Steinman. John F. Steinman loved Drumore Estate and lived here until he died in 1980.
