Need a spooky season date night that is not another haunted house or horror movie?

Grab your person and come spend an evening at The Monastery for the world premiere of Ghost Stories of Grimbleton Manor.

Matt McGee’s newest original puppet production is filled with peculiar characters, eerie stories, music, dark humor, and plenty of wonderfully weird Halloween atmosphere.

It is the kind of date night where you get to experience something completely new together.

We're giving you permission to play!

Join artist Jyll Mullen at The Monastery for a hands on Shibori Dyeing Workshop and explore the beautiful possibilities of pattern, fabric, and indigo dye.

Shibori is a traditional Japanese dyeing technique that uses folding, binding, wrapping, and resist methods to create one of a kind patterns. Part of the fun is that you never quite know what will be revealed until the fabric is opened.

This workshop is an invitation to slow down, work with your hands, experiment, and enjoy the creative process alongside others.

No need to be an experienced artist. Come curious and ready to make something uniquely yours.
