Kent’s Special Events is looking to build our team! We are looking for great problem solvers that thrive in a fast moving atmosphere. All applicants must be willing to complete customer deliveries, set-ups, pick-ups, and properly store equipment.
Are you the right person to join? No experience is required for this position. However any industry, delivery, moving, or construction experience is beneficial. This is a physical industry and the hours can be long at times. We are seeking team members who are trustworthy, energetic and motivated to learn.
Compensation: Although experience is not required, pay is determined based on your knowledge of the industry, delivery skills and driving experience. Once employee has successfully passed the training window, full time employment will be offered with intermittent overtime as the owner sees fit.
Position Tasks & Activities:
• Communicate effectively with Kent’s team and customers.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to inspect and safely operate box trucks.
• Assist with pulling, loading, assembling, operating, and disassembling equipment and returning it properly to inventory.
• Accurately pick, pull, load and unload orders.
• Assist with inventory and maintenance of inventory and equipment.
• Must have the ability to follow instructions and become proficient at multiple styles of tents.
• Once trained, must be able to communicate instructions to less experienced employees.
