Due to the anticipated impact of Tropical Storm Isaias on the Pensacola area, which is forecasted to become a hurricane over the next 24 hours, this weekend’s Southern Tip Off at the Pensacola Bay Center featuring Mississippi State versus Florida State, scheduled for Saturday, October 10, has been cancelled.
After closely monitoring the developing weather conditions, consulting with our partners, and reviewing the latest information provided by local officials and the Emergency Operations Center, we have determined that canceling this weekend’s event is the best decision for the safety and well-being of everyone involved, including players, coaches, families, fans, and staff.
Event Stakeholders are currently evaluating options to re-schedule the Southern Tip Off. If a new date is confirmed, additional information will be shared.
We understand that many of you have made plans to attend the Southern Tip Off, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and disappointment this may cause. We are grateful for your support and understanding.
Ticket Information
Ticketholders who purchased tickets through Ticketmaster will be automatically refunded. No action is required to obtain the refund. The refund will be issued automatically to the original method of payment used at the time of purchase. Customers who purchased tickets at the box office or through a third party must contact or return to their original point of purchase.
