We are seeking friendly and detail-oriented Store Associates who loves Mardi Gras to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining store merchandising, and ensuring smooth daily operations. This role offers an opportunity to develop retail sales skills and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience with tablet based POS system, cashiering, and merchandising is a plus, along with strong communication skills and customer-focused attitude.
This position reports directly to the manager on duty. Our Store Associates are responsible for keeping the store clean, packaging & restocking items, operating air compressors and hot foil stamping machines, cashiering, and assisting customers to their cars with their purchases.
Store hours are Tue-Sat 10am-5:30pm in Oct/Nov & 7 days a week 10am-5:30pm Dec/Jan with occasional extended evenings. Must be available at least 2 weekends/month.
Weekly schedule will be 15-20 hours through Oct/Nov and 25-35 hours Dec/Jan.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds (cases of Mardi Gras beads are heavy!)
