Things are changing, and we couldn’t be more excited.
Over the last year or so, my path and focus has changed and grown. We have a full blown working ceramic studio at my home, I sold my other business so I could focus more on my art, and I dove deep into Reiki- a life changing form of energy healing.

I am currently in massage school so that I may legally practice reiki as a profession, but in the mean time I get to share this gift in other forms including in ceramic art.

This last year I have also gained a partner in the studio, () something I have desired since day one of sun + soil.
Together we co-work projects, collab on pieces, vend, keep the studio organized (or messy) and keep the kilns up and running. I am so grateful to have such a talented, energetic and creative partner join me in this space and it only felt fitting that we lean into this addition by changing our name, logo and what we offer.

Benny introduced me to Reiki and has had a large hand in my journey there, we are excited to eventually co-offer Reiki and massage sessions- once we finish massage school but for now you will find a mix of both his and my art here and in person when we go to markets.

Thank you for continuing to grow with us and for supporting this passion project, I am so grateful to be able to pour so much energy, and love into something that fuels my soul like this.

Finally back in the studio!!!
Now with a new mini slab roller, what a dream. I’m so happy to have the space more organized, and more put together. I’ve been deeply missing ceramic.
This is a hilariously large mug I made. I think someone is going to love it 😂
Props to for 3D printing me a bunch of pattern rollers. I’m hoping to do more handbuilding now that we have a slab roller and some awesome ideas from the clay conference.

It’s rainy and cold outside so that earns more time for ceramics in the studio!
Trying some new things the last few weeks. Now is the time to experiment and play with art.
The studio has seriously come together so beautifully the last few weeks. Feeling grateful that we are able to work in our own space like this!

We’ve done so much in the studio this last week!
joined has been joining us working in this cool fish! Our studio cat Earl is making himself at home more and more (a constant distraction).
We’ve stayed so busy and it’s amazing how fulfilling it was been for me. I am so grateful for this space and the ability to make art every day.

Early mornings and late evenings are my time for art right now’s I’ve been settling into that and also ready for the sun to wake up as early as I do. Here in Florida, I feel the spring coming (ok, it might still be a ways off), which usually creates a shift in me from indoor potting, to outdoor planting seeds in the garden. I am IN my clay creations right now but am also ready to see sprouts and petals and edibles outside again.
Essentially if it’s dirty and can MAKE something, I’m into it.

I’m so excited to announce that you can now find my art locally at Unique Boutique in Pensacola!
This is my first time in a retail space with my work 💕💕 I am grateful for the opportunity.

They are a cute shop with a huge collection of local art from local artists of all kinds. If you’re looking for gifts, for something unique for your home, or just want to see what Pensacola artists can make, go visit.
Also, they host event nights like bingo, sip and shop (oooo wine) and you can come meet the artists (like me!)
