Today we did a full test setup at Lost Pond, and seeing the ceremony chairs by the water and the reception layout come together made us even more excited for what’s ahead.

We did a test setup at Lost Pond today, and seeing everything come together made it all feel real.

We set up tables and chairs in the reception space to make sure the layout flowed well for guests, dancing, and dinner, and tested chair placement in the ceremony area to picture what your wedding day could actually look like here. Every little detail helps us get one step closer to opening the gates for couples to celebrate here.

It’s exciting to see the vision finally taking shape. We still have a few finishing touches ahead of us, but we are getting so close to being done, and we genuinely cannot wait to start showing brides and grooms around Lost Pond.

Watching this venue go from an idea to a real wedding space has been incredible, and we are so excited for the couples who will make memories here.

Hi, I am Elizabeth from Lost Pond wedding venue near Cañon City, Colorado and I wanted to give you a quick tour. Our whimsical moon-gates are looking so good, and our trees are all leafed out. The cattails are starting to grow tall in the stream. And our bar top in the grain silo is almost done. Our rustic barn-board bar gives you 300 degrees of serving area for food or drinks. Our vintage bridge has a great view looking over the stream and pond. Next up to work on is our classic aluminum trailer as a getting ready area for brides or any wedding couple partner that wants to use it. I can’t wait to show you what it looks like when it is finished. If you are looking for a wedding venue that wants to bring nature to you, will treat your wedding day with the same reverence we treated our own, and will probably cry during the wedding ceremony, then Lost Pond is the place for you.
We provide the wedding space, wedding day support, tables, chairs, linens, set up, tear down, and clean up. We also have a lending shed with decorations for you to use. All included in our price with no hidden charges or fees. Come schedule a tour today.

I love coming out first thing in the morning and hearing the stream and watching the birds. This morning there were some Red-Winged Blackbirds calling out to eachother. This is my favorite thing, sitting out here alone and watching nature. And I love that I get to share this beautiful place with my couples.
