One of my side hustles is candle making and I've been working on creating candles that fit the needs of weddings and elegant dinner events. If you, like me, are sensitive to regular paraffin candles, these all natural beeswax candles will be a welcome change. This weekend marks my last booked wedding for the foreseeable future! It’s been a little over 7 years since I started Radiant Events. These years have seen somewhere between 50-75 weddings (I lost count), learning curves, a husband gained from the industry, a lot of pivoting, many many wonderful vendors in the industry, and many personal changes as well. I’m not closing the doors of Radiant Events at this point but I am taking a sabbatical from active planning and coordination. I am and will continue to offer consulting services to couples who are planning on their own. I very much am looking forward to having some more weekend freedom during the remainder of this summer & some more mental energy to offer to my family. Additionally, Joe and I are always adding creative pursuits to our lives which brings fun & a smidge of crazy! The best is yet to come!

In the interest of maintaining health + quality in wedding work + mothering two small children + allowing space for other creative projects, I’ve determined that it is necessary to limit the number of projects that I am managing at any particular time.
