Palate Pleasures was born from a passion of entertaining friends and family and from encouragement of those who have enjoyed what we bring to the table! We like using locally sourced and organic ingredients and making as much as we can from scratch. Haven't posted in a long time! Tonight's dinner is wild caught haddock in a lemon, garlic, olive oil sauce and roasted veggies with lemon, garlic, olive oil, oregano, rosemary, salt and pepper. So flavorful and a healthier alternative to a Friday fish fry!

Pulled out my pasta maker again today. I needed to use up some ricotta cheese in my fridge and decided to make "manicotti" by filling sheets of fresh pasta (approximately 5 by 5 inch squares) with a mixture of ricotta, mozzarella and parmesan cheese, an egg, shredded and drained zucchini, fresh parsley and basil, then rolled up and nestled in some marina sauce. Topped with more sauce and mozzarella cheese then baked in the oven covered for 35 mins, then uncovered until the cheese was melted and slightly browned.
