Wait a minute… hold up. ✋😂

Boss’s Day is this Friday, October 16th, and Christmas bonus season is right around the corner… 👀

We aren’t saying flowers or a little gift will get you a better bonus… but we ARE saying it wouldn’t hurt to try! 🤷‍♀️🤣

Give us a call—we’ve got a few options your boss might like!😉

40 bouquets and a little extra joy around Pender yesterday!

We were so excited to participate in Petal It Forward! Yesterday’s flowers were a gift from us at To Be Planted—no purchase, no catch, just a little something to brighten your day.

Each person received two bouquets: one to keep and one to give to someone else. We got a few surprised looks when we said the flowers were free! 😂 But that’s the whole idea—an unexpected act of kindness that keeps going.

We only caught a few pictures, but we’re so happy we got to spread a little joy in our community!

If you received flowers today, we’d love to hear who you shared your second bouquet with! 💐

It’s not too late to add a little fall color! 🍂 Our big tri-color mums are just starting to bloom, and we still have lots to choose from in so many fun colors.

We’re doing 5…yes 5! 6” mums, asters or mixed fall plants for $20, and the remaining perennials are on sale for $5 or $15.

Pumpkins and gourds are marked down, too! They start at 69¢, and the most expensive one we have is $7. There’s still a great selection to pick through. 🎃

We want everybody to get to enjoy a little fall, whether that’s a porch full of mums or a couple of pumpkins on the steps. Stop out and see what’s blooming!

P.S. It’s Pender’s homecoming week! We also have fresh flowers, balloons and candy baskets if you’d like to send someone a little something.

If you know me, you know I’m a little woo-woo. 😂 I’ve paid attention to woolly worms for years, and honestly, this old weather lore has seemed pretty accurate!

I’m a little scared to tell you what color I’ve been seeing… 🫣❄️

What about you? What colors have you seen?! Please tell me somebody’s finding some orange ones. 😳

Have you seen woolly worms yet this year? What are they telling you winter is going to be in your neck of the woods? 🖤🧡🤎

I’m going to brag on Glenda for a minute—whether she likes it or not. 😂

She won the NAWFI Bloom Room Challenge, competing against two other talented designers and having only 20 minutes to create her arrangement! It was a fun challenge, but no pressure or anything. 😅

Glenda is one of my closest friends and the person who encouraged me to take the leap into fresh flowers. Since then, she has been teaching me and the other girls the floral trade—with a lot of patience, plenty of laughs and probably more than a few deep breaths. 😂 She is always willing to share what she knows and help us learn.

I’m so proud of her and loved seeing her talent shine during this fun challenge! Congratulations, Glenda—you absolutely deserve it! 💐🏆

P.S. She may kill me for posting this, but she deserves the recognition. 🤷‍♀️
