Six years ago, I ran a project called the Front Steps Project with the intention of fundraising for my Boston Marathon charity, the Brookline Center.
Not only did I meet my goal, but I surpassed it quickly!
So, mid project I switched gears to raise money for a second worthy cause. I collaborated with our COA for what could be most helpful which was grocery store gift cards for seniors in need of assistance.
I can’t remember how much we raised but it was well over $1000 in gift cards alone
Ive been thinking on how to assist in some additional ways and decided to run this project regularly to fundraise for various local needs.
This year’s project day will be on Valentines Day! ♥️
I am again collaborating with our COA and what the are most in need of is helping fund snow removal for some of our older residents.
They have been struggling hard to find volunteers the last few years and have been brainstorming solutions.
Therefore, any donations collected will be donated to the Pembroke Council in Aging to be added to the Hope Fund for these purposes.
Please stay tuned for information on signing up for your shoot!

The Front Steps project sessions all take place outside your home with at least 10 feet of distance between families and photographer. Sessions are super quick and fun.The purpose of the project is to lift spirits, have some fun and highlight our community members :) In exchange I only ask for a good faith donation to the Brookline Center for Community Mental Health. https://charity.gofundme.com/o/en/campaign/team-brookline-2020/tracymarino1
