Summer's Garden Home grown garden bouquets. Hi! I'm Summer. I am 12 years old and I love flowers! I really love picking
summertime flowers! Mom helps and is my delivery driver.

My mom has a lot of flowers that grow every year, and since I was really little I would walk around the flower beds and she would teach me about the flowers in our yard. I always loved picking a few flowers for my nightstand. That love of having fresh flowers in my room is how Summer's Garden started. I started bringing flowers to friends and family and last summer my mom said I needed something to do all day! I started cutting flowers and selling them. This year we started more annuals and have been growing seed starts indoors since February! We are so excited to show you what we have been growing and share some new flowers with you soon! I think everyone should always have fresh flowers somewhere in thier house. It is sure to make you smile and fill your heart with a little bit of sunshine. ☀️

Dahlia seedling #2 that we hope to get registered after this season.
This is "Summer's Little Lavendar".
Her lower petals have just a "little" hint of gorgeous lavendar that fades to pale pink and white.
She's a little bloom, only about 1 1/2- 2" across too.

A few have asked why we have to wait 3 years to register them. Genetics in seed dahlias have to stabilize, and can change from year to year as the tubers mature. So we take all sorts of photos year to year and then be sure the tubers don't have genetic issues. Who knew? We sure didn't before stating this process.

These gorgeous dahlias are a plant that we grew from seed by cross pollination, and is on season #3. After this season we can get it registered with a trademarked name as a official dahlia breed.
We are obsessed with our "Summer's Pink Lemonade" dahlia baby and excited to share her with the world.
