Events by Pamela Joy is an event planning business specializing in weddings and special occasions. I am based in Massachusetts, coordinating fabulous events throughout the state. Each couple has a vision for their wedding day, and seeing that vision perfectly manifested is one of the most breathtaking moments of a lifetime. My affection for love stories, families, celebrations and details creatively inspire me and are the reason why I love what I do. One thing I hear from almost every couple after their wedding is:

“It went so fast.”

And it’s true. After months—or sometimes years—of planning, the day seems to arrive, unfold, and suddenly it’s over.

But I don’t think it’s because weddings are short.

I think it’s because a wedding is one of those rare days when we are completely present.

🍂 The New England wedding season is coming to an end… at least for me. 🍂

And I have to admit, I’m feeling a little emotional about it.

Every year I wonder how I could possibly love this work more — and every year, my couples remind me why.

My 2026 couples have each left a little piece of their story with me. I’ve witnessed the nervous excitement, the happy tears, the laughter, the deep breaths before walking down the aisle, the “we actually did it!” moments… and those beautiful, quiet moments when two people realize they’re surrounded by everyone they love.

After 37 years in the wedding industry, I don’t take any of it for granted.

Yes, there are timelines, details, décor, logistics and a million little things that have to happen behind the scenes.

But at the heart of it all is love.

And that is the part I treasure most.

To my 2026 couples — thank you for trusting me. Thank you for letting me into your lives and allowing me to be part of such a meaningful chapter. I hope you know how much it has meant to me.

As the New England leaves begin their beautiful transformation and another wedding season comes to a close, I’m taking a moment to pause and appreciate it all.

The couples.
The families.
The stories.
The laughter.
The happy tears.
The memories.

My heart is full. 🤍

And now, I’m looking toward 2027 with that same excitement.

Some weddings simply take your breath away… and this was one of them. ✨

What an incredible celebration at the beautiful The Mount in the Berkshires!

Guests gathered for a romantic ceremony in the French Garden before strolling to cocktail hour in the stunning Italian Garden. As the sun set, everyone found their seats at one spectacular long guest table stretching down the iconic Lime Walk, glowing beneath twinkling bistro lights. It was the perfect setting for an evening filled with laughter, heartfelt toasts, amazing food, and unforgettable memories.

And when Atlantic Shake took the stage… the dance floor never slowed down! 🎶💃

It was one of those weddings that reminded me why I love what I do—every thoughtful detail came together to create an unforgettable experience for everyone there.

We’re living the moment.

And isn’t it funny?

I get to stand there and watch those moments happen.

And every once in a while, I get to remind a couple:

Stop for a second. Look around. Take it all in.

Because this is your moment.

And it really will be gone in the blink of an eye.
