The Inaugural Derby Day Social is only 40 days away!!!!

Only 13 Early-Bird tickets remain and we are nearing capacity at the venue!

Event capacity is 250 and we’re sitting at 225 even on total tickets sold!! (as of 1030a today)

And for the ladies who missed owt on the opportunity to purchase section packages, no worries, there will be places for you to sit down throughout the event.

Ticket sales for the event are likely going to go on sale a little earlier than anticipated so be on the look owt for the go live date. Perhaps as early as the end of next week.

The attached save the date flyer will be updated with a QR code to purchase tickets in the coming days. Additionally, the EventBrite link to purchase will also be shared across all social media platforms.

This is a fundraiser event for our Lifting As We Climb Foundation, a 501c3 nonprofit. We do some amazing work from within this organization!!!!

Early bird ticket prices are $50, General Admission after the Early Bird sale ends is $60! You’ll no doubt get your money’s worth!

VIP sections, tables, and high tops will be available for purchase.

Again, the venue, although chic and opulent, is intimate and has limited capacity, and once that’s reached, unfortunately that’s it for this inaugural event!

Next year will likely be invite only with this years patrons receiving preference for the next!

Loyal supporters! TICKETS GO ON SALE TOMORROW! You don't want to miss owt on this massive celebration. This event has something for everyone. If fellowship is your thing-- we've got it. If you're into food trucks, we've got it. Thinking about buying or selling a/your home, get some expert advise and information from some of the best realtors in the game. If networking and building your brand is your thing, hang out at the networking hub and exchange business cards. If you want to get your finances in order, or hear about better ways to save on taxes, we've got you covered. If you like shopping for unique homegrown items, locals vendors will be on deck. If you have some concerns about your health, pull up and allow the healthcare professionals to share some insight. If you need to tire the kids owt so that you can put them to bed early and have a night to yourself, we've got you covered. Kids under 12 FREE!!

Bring a small tent, bring a lawn chair, bring your cooler!

We'll also being giving away scholarships to students in our Black Rhino's mentoring program, and stipends to deserving students.

If you enjoy festival vibes and being surrounded by Black excellence, come on out. Two of the hottest DJ's will be on the one's and two's, spinning records throughout the day and into the night. Too, the Divine 9 will be owt!

Finally, if you love live music, none other than Logan the Entertainer himself will be taking the stage and doing what he does best!

We'll close the night owt with an amazing fireworks show! Again, don't miss owt on this all too important celebration of freedom on the grounds of and a home that was built by our ancestors! Can't think of a better location to celebrate!

The Spoken Word ShowΩase tickets go on sale via EventBrite on Friday 3/18/2022 at 8a. The event is April 16th 2022, tickets will likely go fast so be sure to grab yours!

Join us for some sexy, thought provoking, grown folk vibes— as you sit and relax in an amazing ambience, listening to an array of talented poets talk their ish, stimulating your mental from a variety of angles, a true Love Jones experience.

Tickets range from $25 - $35

Tamar Bernard Buff SouthernBoy Buff will be hosting, valet parking will be available, the Ho**ah Lounge will be open, and of course Jackie Robinson the Bartender will be in the house!

Seating options are Premier, Preferred, Sidecar, and Nook. Each option comes with its’ own frills.
