I want to give a shout out to our volunteers. On September 4th we started a 6 week journey of events every weekend that included 17 meals served to 50-400 people.

A week before this joureny began I will say I was a little nervous. We were entering a time of needing a lot of volunteers and I didn't want volunteer burn out to happen. Day by day things got done, meals were prepped and events were completed. We gained new volunteers who learned from the veterans and veterans who took on different roles. This was the best to see and made my heart happy!

So to our volunteers and staff, YOU ROCK!! Thank you for making Pekin Moose Lodge amazing!
