as some of you may or may not have noticed, our original Hounds & Company page was taken down permanently and without cause. we have been sick about it for a couple days, trying to search for a way to recover it all. that was 2.5 (almost 3) years of my work just…gone. we were just a few people shy of 2,000 followers, we had 30+ reviews with 100% positive feedback for the shoppe & our groomers, and essentially our public portfolio of hundreds of photos showing off the dogs we are so fortunate to love on every day.

so—all of that said, there is no point in wallowing over what was lost! we have no choice but to start fresh from the bottom and work our way back up to what we had before. small businesses are taking the brunt of so much lately, we feel so lucky to have had our community’s support over the last couple years. and right now, we’re going to need your help. we didn’t get to where we were alone, & we won’t be able to bounce back without you! 🖤 please, please, please like/follow/share our page so that our clients can find us again. if you love our little shoppe or if we’ve ever taken care of your dogs/cats and you were happy with our services, please take a moment to share your thoughts in a review. you have no idea how much these small acts can help a little business like ours.

Welcome to Derby St., Bear's Bites!

We are opening the Boutique tomorrow!

I know it was suppose to be today but we have to dry out the shop 😭

We had the roof leak fixed when we first bought the building but I guess it did not actually get fixed. 🤬 I was not happy to walk in and see a big puddle in the boutique. Thankfully nothing was ruined and I just had to clean up a huge mess and replace a couple of ceiling tiles. It is okay and I am happy that we found this out before the boutique opened. 😀 I am still so happy that the building is mine!

Come see me tomorrow at noon. This week I will have the boutique open Thursday and Friday 12-6 and then starting next week it will be Wednesday - Friday 12-6 and Saturday 11-3😀

Long time no post 🫣. We are still here and ready to host your next event! We tend to book up every single weekend via word of mouth, so we have done very little social media marketing. How lucky are we!? We do still have some dates in October, November and December open as of now. It’s time to start planning those holiday parties!

▪️Our beautiful and neutral decor is the perfect backdrop for any style of event
▪️We currently do not offer any catering services, but you are free to bring in food from any source of your choosing
▪️Alcohol is permitted
▪️A small fridge is available for use
▪️There is a Bluetooth soundbar, as well as a 72” smart TV available for use

✨PRICES✨
▪️Weekends (Friday-Sunday) $75/hr (3 hour minimum)
▪️Weekdays (Monday-Thursday) $55/hr (2 hour minimum)
▪️$100 deposit required to reserve your date, which goes towards your overall balance

▪️Please note that your booking must include your set up and tear down time. I typically recommend one hour to set up before and one hour to tear down after. This of course depends on your event size and amount of decorations.

What a wonderfully busy weekend we had! We hosted 5 events in 3 days: a 1st birthday party, a baby shower, a wedding reception, a 2nd birthday party and finished up with a cookie decorating class. What a fun variety! Thank you so much to all of our guests. We appreciate each and every one of you!

A few photos graciously shared with us from a recent 60th anniversary party. I just LOVE the touches put into these decorations! The hosts even had a florist recreate the flowers from their grandparents’ wedding. Thank you to the Brakebill family for allowing us to play a role in your very special day ❤️

We sure hit the ground running! We hosted our first event on Sunday, and already have so many new followers in large part thanks to The Sweet Bean Coffee & Treats spreading the word. We are so appreciative. I wanted to take the opportunity to share some details about The Den:
