My name is Sotheara, I go by Theara and I been living in Louisiana, USA since 2016 . I am a domestic violence survivor from my last relationship to whom I had my three children with. Due to that abused I am unable to work , I cannot stand too long or sit too long. I am currently a full time mom, a business woman and a wife to my wonderful husband Po. He is my world and always supported me in everything I do. Nothing will block me from what I like to do. Cooking is my passion.

I cook mostly spicy ASIAN foods. Mainly is Lao and Cambodian. Let me break down of what I normally cook. 35% Lao food, 25% Cambodian food,15% Thai food, 15% Vietnamese food, 5% Chinese food, 2% Americans food, 2% Spanish and 1% is dessert.

Why I choose this career ? There are so many people out there that wanted to eat the real Cambodian fermented food and its not easy for them to access to this kind of food and I always wanted to have a class to teach them but where I live is not easy and YouTube is the place that I can teach them how to cook of variety of Asian foods. Thanks to google and YouTube !

The world need to know who I am and where I came from. I am currently write a memoir about my domestic violence survivor. I don’t know when I finish it since it is not easy to write from a bad memories. Also my English grammar is not good either. Keep my fingers crossed and hope it release soon!
