🇮🇹🎓📚Last night the Carmel S. Morina Lodge #2580 hosted the Sons of Italy New Jersey Foundation Scholarship Awards Dinner, where 15 scholarships totaling $20,500 were awarded to outstanding Italian American students.

Congratulations to all the recipients, including our lodge scholarship award winner Luca Jaffe, grandson of Mike Giovannitti. Their hard work, leadership, and academic achievement reflect the bright future of our Italian American community.

We thank the NJ OSIA Foundation for the opportunity to host this special event and celebrate education, heritage, and community with scholarship recipients, families, sponsors, and members from across New Jersey.

we proudly honor our namesake,
Corporal Carmel S. Morina, a casualty of the Korean War, along with all the brave men and women who laid down their lives in service to our country.
Their courage, sacrifice, and unwavering dedication continue to inspire us and remind us that freedom is never free.
May we never forget the heroes who gave everything for the generations that followed.
