Los Angeles Children's Chorus happily welcomes our new and returning Board of Directors members for the upcoming 2026|27 Season!

This season's remaining officers include Corina Madilian, Secretary; Joanna Shing, Treasurer; and Annabel Raymond, Chair, Governance Committee. James Muhammad and Patrick Garcia round out the Board leadership as Audit and Facilities Committee Chairs, respectively.

We are also thrilled to have leaders from the entertainment, legal, not-for-profit, finance, education, and business sectors among our newest Board of Directors cohort, which includes returning Board Member Greg Pieschala and new members Jason Kawejsza, Michelle Lin, Diana Vesga, and Paul Rigali. And not forgetting Aimee Cunningham, who joined the Board earlier in the season.

This year is going to be bright 🤩 Thank you to all of our Board Members for your support and guidance!

Moment Ten: The Ultimate Win

In 2022, LACC received the Grammy Award for Best Choral Performance for its performance on the Los Angeles Philharmonic’s recording of Mahler Symphony No. 8, conducted by Gustavo Dudamel. United under the chorus mastery of Fernando Malvar-Ruiz, Grant Gershon, Robert Istad, and Luke McEndarfer.

The highest honor in choral music — earned one rehearsal at a time. ❤️

Last Thursday at Hollywood Bowl we had the privilege of being part of something truly historic! We celebrated 17 years of Gustavo Dudamel as Music & Artistic Director of Los Angeles Philharmonic in his final weekend at the Bowl.

Four years of extraordinary leadership thanks to Dete Meserve ❤️

We celebrated our outgoing Board Chair, Dete Meserve, at our July Board of Directors meeting. She is a film and TV producer, bestselling author, and one of the greatest champions LACC has ever had. Over the past four years, Dete led our board with vision, heart and an unshakeable belief that music education changes lives.
