Holy Thursday April 17, 2025 - Celebration of Communion in remembrance of Christ's Last Supper with his Disciples. Come to Worship at 5 p.m. in the historic 1800s White Chapel. It's part of the Lenten journey from palms to the cross. Service includes interpreter for ASL and Voice.

Yes, it's time for the deeelicious monthly Magothy Community Breakfast! THIS 3rd SATURDAY, MARCH 15, we'll be serving from 7 to 10:30 a.m. --Yummm. You'll get a fresh, hot, complete breakfast with juice, milk, and coffee/tea for only $10/ adult. The friendly team is serving at 3703 Mountain Road in Pasadena, across from The Niftee Thriftee Shoppe and next to Jacobsville Elementary.
Don’t miss the great chipped beef! Or are you more a fluffy scrambled eggs, bacon, French toast, blueberry pancakes, or scrapple fan? … much more variety than we have room to type! No matter what you’re craving, you can’t miss with this delicious assortment and friendly crew. Live music, too!

Come visit on Wednesday, March 5th - 10 a.m. or 5 p.m. - Pastor Martin and Pastor Leo will be waiting for you in the historic White Chapel at two very brief worship services - with ashes available at both times. 3703 Mountain Road, Pasadena, MD 21122. We're worshiping together with Magothy Church of the Deaf.
Make this Ash Wednesday observance of the start of the Lenten season part of your week, and begin your contemplative journey toward Easter morning. You'll enjoy our beautiful little white church built in the 1800's - bask in the light streaming through the stained glass windows and look up at the Tiffany blue arches. Breathe deeply in the quiet before or after the service and say, "Aahhh, thank you, God!".

Christians will be wearing ashes this Wednesday. Here's why...
March 5, 2025, Ash Wednesday, is the first day of the Lenten Season, the 40 days (without Sundays counted) that lead up to Easter Sunday. Christians in the U.S. will go to church to receive ashes in the shape of a cross on their foreheads as a remembrance of our humanity as we prepare for Easter. The ashes are made by burning the palms of past Palm Sundays. Come and make this special observance part of your week this Wednesday - Ashes at both of our very brief services 10:00a.m. or at 5:00p.m. - Magothy UMC & Magothy Church of the Deaf, 3703 Mountain Rd., Pasadena, MD 21122.
