Mr. Little vs. The Big Balloon Be a part of something BIG! By using science each student becomes a scientist and will try to figure out how Mr. Little will climb inside of a Big Balloon. No. Mr.

Students will learn scientific concepts through personal discovery, journaling, media, hands on indoor/outdoor experiments, one on one instruction, and group brainstorming. Students learn BIG scientific concepts like Potential & Kinetic Energy, Air Pressure, Force, Displacement, How the Respiratory System works, the Water Cycle, and Newtonʼs Laws of Motion, along with many others. These concepts w

ill come alive through this one of a kind interactive curriculum.

* What grades is the Mr. Little vs The Big Balloon Science Curriculum designed for? The Mr. Little vs The Big Balloon science curriculum was designed for students in 2nd through 7th grades. This curriculum has a higher level of learning and because of this many public schools choose to use this curriculum in the Elementary exclusively with 4th-5th grade students. In middle school this curriculum is perfect for 6th-7th grade students. When Mr. Little himself teaches he will modify his teachings to help the students understand the concepts expressed.

* Is the Mr. Little vs The Big Balloon only offered to Public Schools? Little has designed this exciting curriculum for Public Libraries, Private Schools, and Homeschool organizations. Little just finished his first group of classes for Homeschool students. Both Mr. Little and his Homeschool students had a blast! For the Homeschool students there are two different classes to choose from. The Science Discoverers Class will be taught at the student's level of understanding. This will be a basic learning of scientific concepts for the 2nd-3rd grader. For the 4th grader there will be more opportunities to expand upon certain concepts. However, whatever the grade the student Mr. Little will challenge them with "Higher Level" learning. For the 5th-7th grade student Mr. Little specifically designed a class called Science investigators, "SI" for short. This class will focus on more advanced and complex scientific concepts. Also, Mr. Little will encourage teamwork through TeamThink and brainstorming in many of their investigations. SI will be a more advanced class compared to Scientific Explorers. Students in both SE and SI classes will be encouraged to keep a personal student journal. Little vs The Big Balloon student journal is a take-home activity to keep your student engaged in the curriculum while away from Mr. Little.

I hope you and yours had a wonderful Christmas, I wish you a Happy New Year. We had a amazing time exploring and experimenting with Zoology One. The adventure continues as we dive into the curious world of aquatic animals. Starting the week of January 4th we will begin Zoology Two.

ATTENTION ALL FAMILIES WHO ATTEND MY LEAGUE CITY AND FRIENDSWOOD CLASSES.

Due to small 9:30-11:00 SD classes I'm combining my SD class with my 11:30-1:00 SI class. (It's been very successful at my League City location with Zoology One.)
