A BIG thank you to Mrs. Alaina Sharp and Mr. Colby Sharp for joining us today for Pizza with Professionals! 🍕👏

Alaina and Colby shared their experiences and gave our students an inside look at what it’s like to pursue a career in education and teaching. They offered valuable insight into the profession and helped students better understand the impact teachers make every day! 🍎📚

We appreciate them taking the time to connect with our Panthers, answer questions, and inspire the next generation of educators! 🐾❤️

🍦💛 CONES WITH COUNSELORS! 💛🍦

This month, we are celebrating a very special group of students—our 5th Grade Camp Counselors! 🎉

Last week, these amazing students gave up three days and two nights to spend time with our Western 5th graders at camp. They stepped into leadership roles, helped younger students navigate new experiences, encouraged them to participate, and most importantly, served as wonderful role models. 🐾❤️

Our younger students truly looked up to these older students, and it was so special to see the friendships, encouragement, laughter, and memories that were created along the way! From helping with activities to simply being there when someone needed a little extra encouragement, our camp counselors made a BIG difference. 🙌

We are so proud of these students for stepping up, showing responsibility, and representing Western High School in such a positive way. Their leadership and kindness helped make camp an experience our 5th graders will remember for years to come! ⭐

Today, our counselors are proud to recognize them with Cones with Counselors! 🍦🎉

Thank you, Camp Counselors, for being leaders, role models, and a wonderful example of what it means to be a Panther! 🐾💛❤️

🌿💛 The Class of 2029 is making a difference in our community! 💛🌿

The WHS Class of 2029 has been hard at work cleaning up and maintaining the roundabout at McCain & Dearing Roads! 🌱🧹

This area has officially been adopted by the Class of 2029, and our students will be helping to w**d, clean, and keep the area looking its best throughout the year. ❤️💛

Coming soon, a sign will be erected recognizing the students who are helping maintain the area:
✨ “WHS Students – Class of 2029” ✨

This is a fantastic example of Panther Pride, teamwork, and giving back to our community! 🐾

👏 Thank you, Class of 2029, for your hard work and dedication! We are proud of you! ❤️💛

A special thank you to Class Advisors Josh Smith and Sarah Nally for encouraging and supporting our students as they take on this wonderful community service opportunity! 👏❤️💛

🎓✨ Juniors Over the Local Circuit! ✨🎓

On Tuesday, Western High School juniors had the incredible opportunity to visit not one, but THREE colleges in one day! 🙌

Through the Juniors Over the Local Circuit program, our students visited Jackson College, Albion College, and Spring Arbor University. 🏫

Students attended informative presentations highlighting the importance of K–12 education and higher education, while also getting a firsthand look at what college life is really like. They walked campus with knowledgeable tour guides, explored different programs and majors, and learned about a variety of career opportunities available to them. 🎓💡

Experiences like these help our students see what is possible and begin thinking about their future beyond high school. We are so proud of our juniors for taking advantage of this opportunity to explore, ask questions, and plan for their future! ❤️💛

A huge thank you to Jackson College, Albion College, and Spring Arbor University for welcoming our students and helping make this experience so valuable! 👏
