Stanislav Ioudenitch, Piano, is widely regarded for his strong individuality and musical conviction.

The International Center for Music at Park University trains and educates the next generation of accomplished musicians for careers in music at the highest level, in a focused and creative atmosphere with an international faculty of renowned excellence. His artistry won him the Gold Medal at the 11th Van Cliburn International Piano Competition, where he also took home the Steven De Groote Memorial

Award for Best Performance of Chamber Music. Ben Sayevich, Violin, Lithuanian-Israeli violinist Ben Sayevich has established himself as one of the most distinguished violinists and teachers of his generation. Daniel Veis, Cello, has been recognized as the finest Czech cellist since winning the First Prize at 1976 Prague Spring Competition and the Silver Medal at 1978 Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow. Lolita Lisovskaya-Sayevich, Piano, is a collaborative pianist at Park University's International Center for Music. She received first prices in the Iowa Piano International Competition (2007), Nikolai Rubinstein International Piano Competition (1996) and Chopin International Piano Competition (1993).

The International Center for Music at Park University student Yangrui Cai has made the Semi-Final round of The Cliburn in Fort Worth, Texas! Cai is one of 12 semifinalists remaining in the competition. The first of his two semifinal performances will be on Friday, May 30. Cai is the fourth and final participant in tomorrow evening's concertos, performing with the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra. With each concerto lasting about 30 minutes, we estimate he will perform at approximately 9:00 p.m. CDT.

On Sunday, June 1, Cai will have the final opportunity to impress the judges as he will be the last performer of the semifinals. His 60-minute recital is scheduled to begin at 8:55 p.m. The announcement of the 6 finalists will be made that same evening, once jury voting concludes.

The Cliburn continues live from Fort Worth. Two pianists from The International Center for Music at Park University will compete and you can watch live. Jiarui Cheng, 26 years old from China, will compete today (May 22) at 4:20 p.m. Central Time, performing Bach's Toccata in C minor, BWV 911, Camille Saint-Saëns' Danse macabre, Op. 40, and Brahms' Six Pieces for Piano, Op. 118. Yangrui Cai, 24 years old from China will compete tomorrow night (May 23) at 7:35 p.m. Central Time, performing Bach's Toccata in D Major, BMV 912, Carl Vine's Five Bagatelles, Wagner/Liszt's Tannhäuser Overture (arr. for piano), S. 442, and Gabriela Montero's Rachtime. The International Center for Music at Park University graduate student Ilya Shmukler shines bright in the Cliburn documentary, Crescendo. Covering live and going behind the scenes of the Sixteenth Van Cliburn International Piano Competition in Fort Worth, Texas, the 2022 documentary film is now available for rent or purchase on Apple TV, Amazon Prime Video, and Google Play.

Crescendo dives deep into the historic 2022 Cliburn Competition, where Ilya was one of six finalists and winner of the Mozart prize.

The next edition of the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition will take place May 21–June 7, 2025, at Van Cliburn Concert Hall at TCU and Bass Performance Hall in Fort Worth, Texas, USA. Graduate viola student, Iana Korzukhina will perform a terrific recital at Park University at 7:00 p.m. Born in 1995 in the little city of Arkhangelsk in Russia, Iana came to Park ICM in 2024, with her husband, cellist Nikita Korzukhin, to study for a master’s degree with Professor Peter Chun at Park ICM. Her recital will be held at the Chapel and feature works by Paul Hindemith, Johann Sebastian Bach and Rebecca Clark. Iana Korzukhina was born in 1995 in the little city of Arkhangelsk in Russia. In 2013, she enrolled in St. Petersburg College named after Modest Mussorgsky and in 2022 she graduated with honors from the Saint Petersburg Conservatory.

In 2024, Iana moved with her husband, cellist Nikita Korzukhin, to study for a master’s degree with Professor Peter Chun at Park ICM. Her recital will be held at the Chapel at Park University this Thursday, May 1, 7:00 p.m., and feature works by Paul Hindemith, Johann Sebastian Bach and Rebecca Clark. Just 10 days from now, The International Center for Music at Park University founder & artistic director and Cliburn Gold Medalist, Stanislav Ioudenitch, will be joined in concert by his daughter, award-winning violinist, Maria Ioudenitch, violinist. Appearing together at the 1900 Building, this amazing concert will be held on May 7th, 7:30 p.m. They'll be performing an incredible evening of works by Beethoven, Ravel, Boulanger, and Bartók.
