Work-cation in Maui was a huge success! I filmed 6 rides yesterday at clinic Day 2 and 5 on Monday Day 1 and alllll the dressage riders at the show on Sunday! If you have a one ring show and or clinic somewhere happy and warm December 2023-March 2024, please give me a call and let’s see if I’m a good fit!! I have a wonderful new small HD camcorder to travel with!

Video work-cation in Maui!!!! Thank you Gwen P. Ka'awaloa for inviting me!!!! Yesterday was spent filming about 30 dressage tests - today clinic day 1!

If you live in an area that stays above 50 degrees in January, February or March in 2024 and would like to have quality, custom, steady, zoomed- in video at your 1 ring shows or clinics - please reach out! I have a new HD Cannon Camcorder that is much more portable and lighter weight and easier on my back to do some video work outside Colorado in 2024!

A different kind of video work day! Sharing nuggets of knowledge with a High School Career Pathways Class … gained from being self employed for 23 years! These were NOT the most enthusiastic students, so it was a challenge to get them to engage - have them think about what kind of personality they have (on the most basic level are they an introvert versus and extrovert) - the benefits and challenges to be self employed - and how much I love filming horses!!

I’m grateful for still loving what I do after 23 years and being able to share my passion with others trying to figure out what they want to be when they grow up!

As I was thinking about Jimmy Wofford last night… I did some digging and found the Master VHS tapes from this very first clinic I ever filmed… Jimmy at the Colorado Horse Park …

I remember being sooooo nervous to film such a well- respected Olympian! But he made it as easy as possible…

6 months later I flew to Tallahassee, Florida with an assitant to film another one of his clinics at a beautiful private farm, El Destino in Tallahassee and also at the Red Hills XC course …

Thank you Reed Ayers, Rochelle Costanza, Nicole Musmanno, Annette Reals, Sandy Eckles, Martha and Jen Deeds, Margot Gray, Teri Thompson, Ashley Demander and Kristine Brahman for inspiring me with your wonderful riding and partnerships with your precious horses I had the pleasure of filming at this very first clinic.

This clinic and Jimmy were the reason I fell in love with Irish Sporthorses and wanted to have one someday … I flew to Virginia and looked at close to 30 horses and decided on Marty, who I had for 19 years…. I am absolutely in love with my new Irish dream man Zenith who has been amazing this past year ….

I couldn’t help show again my original Sony Handycam I used to start my equine video business 23 years ago….

With my posts about on Mondays, have you considered adopting a mustang? I was passionate about wanting to learn more about these horses…. And I want to share with you some VERY IMPORTANT considerations BEFORE you decide if you have the time and understanding of what these special horses need, and HOW and WHERE you can adopt mustangs.

One exceptional resource I have shared with you is the Wild Rose Mustang Advocacy Group Incorporated through head trainer Cayla Stone, up near Fort Collins, Colorado. Cayla has worked with over 100 mustangs!!

Another excellent resource is Steve Mantle and his ranch’s FB group Mantle's Wild Horses.

I met Steve and Brad with the BLM at an adoption auction event during Cheyenne Frontier Days, during the end of July.

Steve and his family have over 25 years experience with these horses, as well as a contract with the BLM to help gentle, train, and adopt them.

I’m so glad 2022 was the year I finally carved out some time to visit their facility in Wellington, Colorado (just north of Fort Collins) and create video productions for them!!
