Remember when photos were "Badabing Badaboom!" and you were done? Back when Sears and JCPenney studios ruled the world?

We know not everyone has the time (or the want) for a full session, on-location, with all the production. So Jenny has started something new! You can now book a 5, 15, or 30-minute session with Jenny at the studio.

These sessions are offered every Wednesday between 9:30am and 4:30pm, and some weekends (like this Saturday!). So whether you need an updated headshot, want some quick pics of the family, or just need to capture the kids before they get any bigger, this is the easy way to do it.

Don't think 5 or 15 minutes is enough time to get photos? Here's what a few clients have said:

I'm hosting summer mini sessions at one of my faaaaaavorite spots for photos in the Park Rapids area -> Preacher's Grove! I'm doing them in the evening on June 5th, and there are only 8 spots.

These are quick fifteen-minute sessions set against those big, beautiful pines at Itasca. A simple, easy way to refresh your family photos before summer really gets going, get some quick senior portraits in, or maybe some photos of you with your love!

Here's what's included:
- A 15-minute session
- All edited images (50+) delivered in an online gallery within 4 weeks
- A print release to download and print wherever you please
- The option to order prints right through your gallery

Sessions run between 6:00 and 8:30pm, and the evening light out there in June is honestly something special. $175 per session.

May is going to be a really fun month at Jennifer Christi Photo & Video, and I wanted to share what's coming because I think there's something here for just about everyone.

May 5 — Business Headshot Refresh Day
If your headshot is outdated [or nonexistent], this one's for you. Ten minutes, all your edited images, $75. The studio has a variety of backdrops to choose from so we'll find what works best for you.

May 9 — Mother's Day Minis: Two ways to celebrate Mom this year!
Your favorite 5-minute "I just need ONE good photo" minis are from 10am–12pm for just $29.99. You'll receive 5 edited images with the option to download more of your favorites.

Or come out to Preacher's Grove at Itasca State Park from 1–4pm for something a little more unique. You'll receive all of your edited images. Fifteen or thirty minute sessions surrounded by those big beautiful pines. Mother's Day is May 11th, so don't wait too long on this one.

Wednesdays at the Studio — All Month
I'm opening the studio every Wednesday in May for portrait sessions. Five, fifteen, or thirty minutes depending on what you need. Great for families, individuals, seniors, whoever. Easy to schedule, no big commitment.

As I mentioned recently, I’m adjusting my schedule this year. My team will continue offering on-location sessions and weddings just as they always have, but I’m personally stepping back from most on-location work to focus more on studio sessions and business storytelling.

If you’ve been hoping to book an on-location session with me in 2026, I’m keeping a small window open — and that option will close on February 22.

There are two simple ways to do that:
• You can grab a session gift certificate and reach out when you’re ready to schedule. I keep track of those and will make space accordingly. Returning clients can use the code RETURNGIFT for 10% off. Shoot me a message, and I can direct you to where you need to be to grab a gift certificate.

Life has shifted a lot for our family and business, and with Joel now off on evenings and weekends, I’m restructuring how I work so I can actually see him 😄

♥️ I’m shifting my main focus to working with businesses and in-studio portrait sessions on specific days, plus film sessions.
