I started DJing in 2009 when I was just 16 years old.

But before I was behind the booth… I was the kid in the middle of the dance floor.

Hands up. Singing loud. Pulling people off the walls and into the party.

I loved the feeling of bringing a room to life.

So I decided to become the person controlling the music that made it happen.

Since then, I’ve had the privilege of helping tens of thousands of people celebrate some of the best nights of their lives.

And honestly… it still feels just as exciting as the first time.

A quick vendor interview turned into celebrating a HUGE milestone. 🥹📸

Livvy + Bryan’s wedding at River Bottoms Ranch marked Pepper Nix’s 1,000th wedding after 25 years in the industry.

One of the coolest parts of Pepper’s career is that she doesn’t just photograph a couple’s wedding. She stays with families through newborn photos, graduations and sometimes even photographs the weddings of the kids she once photographed as babies.

We also teamed up during cocktail hour for a fun group photo game so Livvy and Bryan could get a photo with every single guest.

An incredible photographer, an even better person and such a special milestone to witness. Congratulations, Pepper! 🤍

One of my favorite wedding hacks. 👏

We play one song, the bride and groom stay in one spot, and guests race up for a quick photo before the music ends.

It’s fun, keeps the energy up, and helps you get photos with way more guests than you normally would… without spending half your reception taking pictures.

Definitely adding this to the list of wedding ideas I’d recommend. 🤍
