Friends, yesterday I had an opportunity to cater for a funeral in Clarksville but the lady (whose dad had passed) told me that the funeral director had found someone else for her. I was sorely disappointed because I thought this would be a great opportunity for me to do a "celebration of life" event. It would have been something new for me since I had never thought of doing funerals. But I am a person who is always looking for a challenge, and sometimes I do get it at times when I don't want it. Anyway, this morning I opened my email to see what goodies await me and the message from "Today's Word with Joel & Victoria" was "Let go of what didn't work out." We often know and feel when God is talking to us and are sometimes unsure if it is really God but this word for today was just plain and simple God. No doubting needed and it was taken from Psalms 131: 1 which says - "...neither do I concern myself with great matters, nor things too profound for me."
So friends may this also be your word for today. Don't concern yourself with things that are out of your control because God has everything under His control. He wants us to "worry for nothing." And yes, I will do funerals from now on....it would be an honor. Have a very blessed day.
